Solidarité des Femmes pour le Développement Intégral (SOFEDI) is a sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) organization founded in 2005. SOFEDI works with local communities to carry out small projects in two eastern provinces of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and focuses on a range of issues, such as women's rights, youths, sexual violence, HIV/AIDS, and Covid-19. One of SOFEDI's projects in 2021 trained women working in the mines of the Shabunda to understand sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) and how to mitigate SGBV in their community.
