This training resource guides facilitators through the various steps necessary to facilitate a brief face-to-face workshop on SRH in emergencies and the MISP.
Overview
In 2019, IPPF in collaboration with IAWG, published three training packages based on the revised 2018 Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) for Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and related resources including the previous SPRINT training package.
Together, the training modules – tailored to three different audiences – form a comprehensive capacity development approach. The modules include:
- A workshop for policy makers on SRH in emergencies and the MISP;
- A training for program managers on the MISP; and
- A training for service providers on the MISP.
These training packages are designed to support facilitators with delivering face-to-face training workshops on SRH in emergencies and the MISP. All training packages are in English, however, Spanish and French service provider training materials are to come in late-2023. Each training package consists of:
- A facilitator’s manual;
- Handouts with practical exercises;
- An agenda; and
- A slide deck.
