The Framework for the Prevention of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence (CRSV) outlines critical considerations for the prevention of CRSV in a clear, comprehensive way, in order to advise the development and support of structural and operational matters. It can be implemented at the regional, national and local levels, adapted to each context, to improve and expand programmatic efforts in CRSV prevention.

Guttmacher InstituteThe Guttmacher Institute released its Family Planning Investment Impact Calculator, an interactive, web-based tool designed to estimate the positive impacts of investments in family planning services. The calculator estimates the number of modern contraceptive users that would be served, unintended pregnancies and abortions that would be averted, women’s and girls’ lives that would be saved, and cost savings that would accrue for health systems.

Making the Invisible Visible: An evidence-based analysis of gender in the regional response to the war in Ukraine

The manual also includes training on how to prepare the health facility to provide care and is intended for health care providers working in humanitarian emergencies.

Review of maternal death audits in refugee camps in UNHCR East and Horn of Africa and Great Lakes Region, 2017–2019

The study found that factors contributing to delays in receiving care highlight the capacity gaps in the provision of emergency obstetric care, including the management of postpartum hemorrhage, requiring urgent additional investments.

The portal is a joint initiative led by the WHO and UNFPA equipping multiple stakeholders with the necessary evidence and “how to” tools to advance the Sexual Reproductive Health and Universal Health Coverage (SRH-UHC) integration agenda. The portal was created in response to growing calls for integration and increasing access to quality sexual and reproductive health services for all populations, all across the world.
