Africa Training of Trainers' Workshop on ASRHR in Emergencies

Thanks to the generous support from Norwegian Church Aid, the IAWG Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (ASRHR) Sub-Working Group completed its third regional training of trainers' workshops for Central, East, Southern, and West Africa regions from September 19-23, 2022 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Five facilitators, including two young people from community-based / youth-led organizations, conducted two workshops on ASRHR in emergency settings - one for Anglophone countries and one for Francophone countries.

The workshops certified 26 master trainers on ASRHR in emergencies. The participants represented 16 countries across Africa and came from 20 different organizations, including 10 youth-led organizations. More information, including the training reports, will be shared via the IAWG ASRHR Sub-Working Group in the coming month. Congratulations to all of the master trainers!
