First-ever Country-level Estimates of Unintended Pregnancy and Abortion

It reveals significant disparities in unintended pregnancy and abortion rates across countries, including between countries within the same region. Save the Children and IAWG ASRH SWGIn Rwanda, the situation for refugees in Mahama Refugee Camp has worsened, as COVID-19 lockdown measures increased needs while restricting access to basic services. Few assessments have been conducted on the SRH needs of refugees in Mahama camp, including adolescents and youth, since COVID-19. To address this gap, the IAWG ASRH SWG and Save the Children led the research with more than 700 adolescent and youth refugees and host community members in Mahama Refugee Settlement during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Tracking Progress Towards Maternal and Neonatal Mortality Reduction Targets in Countries Affected by Humanitarian Crises

Country profiles present the most recent national survey and modelled mortality estimates, as well as available notes on sampling strategy adjustments for household surveys and data sources used in statistical modelling.

They are looking for women and gender diverse folk who identify as immigrants and have attended Canada's education institutions to apply, in order to inform our research and the curriculum they are building. In essence, our goal is to create a culturally sensitive sexual health curriculum that is adapted to the needs of women and gender-diverse immigrants in Canada.
Over the course of their lives, women may choose to start, stop, or switch family planning methods to meet their reproductive needs and preferences. By understanding the dynamics of contraceptive use, health policy and program decisionmakers can better deliver high-quality, client-centered services that enable women and couples to make the best family planning choices for themselves.
