Mutual understanding of the evolving response environment and service delivery tailored to the expressed needs of the population is required. Internews’ Communicating with Communities (CwC) methodology is recognized by the global humanitarian community as a vital component of humanitarian response. CwC aims to fill the information and communication needs of people affected by crisis. Internews has evolved its methodology since the 2014 response to the Ebola epidemic in Liberia to include pioneering work in rumour and misinformation management in Nepal, Haiti, Greece, South Sudan and the DRC.
