On 29 September 2022, IAWG, Care International, Ipas, Raise, International Rescue Committee and Save the Children convened virtually to discuss the past progress and future needs for contraception and comprehensive abortion care (CAC) in fragile settings. Participants in the discussion:
- Reflected on 14 years of dynamic partnership to provide innovative contraception and CAC services, programming and technical support in 19 countries
- Described global and national efforts to codify contraception and CAC as a standard of care for emergency response
- Shared effective approaches for advancing contraception and CAC in fragile settings
- Discussed gaps and opportunities for the future of contraception and CAC in fragile settings
