About the SRVI Forum
The SVRI aims to promote research on sexual violence to ensure sexual violence continues to be recognised as a priority public health problem. We do this by increasing awareness of sexual violence as a priority public health problem through evidence based communication and information; promoting donor and researcher involvement in supporting and undertaking research on sexual violence; building capacity in sexual violence research and improving knowledge of sexual violence internationally to influence policy and service delivery. In support of our aim, the SVRI hosts bi-annual Forums. The SVRI Forum provide researchers, practitioners and others with a platform to share and disseminate methodological experiences and research findings, and a dynamic space for participants to network, share lessons, link research with policy and practice and disseminate new and exciting research in the field. The SVRI undertook a review of all the presentations made at the past three Forums to gain an understanding of who is presenting on what at our conferences. Download the online brief: SVRI Forums: Taking Stock.
